Brenda Bailey Blaxton, 76, of Town Creek, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Bro. Marcus Lipscomb officiating. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery.
Born on September 12, 1948 to the late Heron and Dovie Borden Butler, Brenda worked for Terry's Florist for many years but she will be remembered for her banana pudding. She enjoyed playing computer games and selling jewelry, but her biggest joy in life was spending time with her family
Survivors include her son, Anthony Muston; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Blaxton; parents; son, Walter Timothy Muston; brothers, Ronnie Butler, Jackie Butler, and Scotty Butler.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Muston, Brandy Muston, Jonathan Muston, Clint Muston, Adam Burney, and Craig Blaxton.
The family extends special thanks to all of Brenda's nurses and the staff at Helen Keller Hospital.
