Lynette Foote Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Abbey Cremation Service - Rocky Hill on Sep. 20, 2023.
Lynette Sylvie (Pare') Foote, 67, of New Britain, Connecticut passed away at Hospital of Central Connecticut on September 11, 2023, after a brief battle with lung cancer. Lynette was born on 7/17/1956 in Quebec, Canada and came to the United States with her family at a young age.
Lynette is predeceased by her father Dennis Pare', her mother Rachel Pare', brother Steven Pare', and granddaughter Bella. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law Jay and Amy Pare' of Norwich, Connecticut, son Adam Foote and daughter Kayley Foote both of Hartford Connecticut as well as grandchildren Hazel, Matthew, Nathaniel, and Wyatt. She also leaves behind brothers Roger, Rene, Gerard and a sister Nancy Pare' as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lynette was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She had a terrific sense of humor, was artistic, outgoing and a very giving person. She loved her cats, her grandchildren, watching movies, Halloween, drinking coffee and shopping at good will. She had an interest in Sanskrit and the following proverb was chosen for her by her oldest son Jay.
Look to this day,
For it is life,
The very life of life.
In its brief course lie all,
The realities and Verities of existence,
The bliss of growth,
The splendor of action,
The glory of power-
For yesterday is but a dream
And tomorrow is only a vision.
But today, well lived,
Makes every yesterday a dream of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day.
Sanskrit Proverb
There will be a memorial service held in her honor on September 30, 2023 at 10:00 am at Saint Gabriel church, 379 Broad Street, Windsor CT 06095.

Having her as my mom was truly a blessing. I miss her more than the world will ever know. I would give anything to hear her voice, smell her hair or even drink a cup of coffee with her. My days are foggy and my nights are long. I love you Mama today, tomorrow forever until we meet again. Catch you on the flip side my love...
