Lynette was preceded in death by the joy of her heart her son, Billy Wayne Boozer, whose memory she cherished every day. She was also preceded by her husband, Billy W. Goodner, as well as her parents Vergie and Charlie Grimes, and brothers Coy Grimes, Charles Grimes (wife Verble), and Fred Grimes (wife Inez). Though she endured great loss, she carried a deep and abiding love for her family throughout her life. Her legacy is one of compassion, dedication, and quiet perseverance.
