Obituary – Lynette Ann Koppel
July 8, 1952- March 19, 2023
Lynette Ann Koppel was born on July 8, 1952, to parents Fred and Irene Tabor. She was the oldest of 6 siblings. Lynette grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada where she met her husband, Bill. She and Bill had 2 children and raised them in Las Vegas until moving to McMinnville, Oregon in 1991. Lynette was a stay-at-home mom during the children's early years and was bookkeeper for the family business for several years until beginning her career in grocery working for Alpha Beta (which later was transitioned into Lucky) where she worked her way to department manager. Once her family moved to Oregon, she began her career with Safeway where she worked for the next 30 years and retired in 2018. Lynette's son Bill followed in his mother's footsteps and has made a career in the grocery business. Her daughter Tina got married and had 3 children. Lynette and Bill have been there for each other and married for over 50 years.
Lynette lived for family! She would do anything for her family. She always looked forward to her vacation time to spend time with family and friends. Whether it be the long road trips to see family out of state or a day trip with the grandkids.
Lynette was preceded in death by her father Fred Tabor and mother Irene Tabor. Lynette is survived by her husband William Koppel (Bill), son William Koppel II (Bill), Daughter Tina Lauer (husband Jake), granddaughter Sierra Crawford (husband Chris), great grandson Russell Crawford, great granddaughter Lilly Crawford, granddaughter Hayley Hart (husband Jeff), granddaughter Brianna Lauer, brother Clif Tabor (wife Leslie), brother Roger Tabor (wife Amy), brother Glen Tabor, sister Laura Barr (husband Bob), and brother Brian Tabor (husband Alex).
