Lynette E. Mitan

It is with a heavy heart we write to inform the Greater Detroit community that Lynette Elaine Mitan passed over to the hands of our Lord in the evening of February 3rd at Henry Ford Hospital after battling many health issues at the age of 80 years old.

Lynette leaves behind a legacy of advocation to the furthering of literacy and education as well as life long Charity work with the Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Even with a tumultuous life of many hardships she always had a kind word and smile for anyone she encountered. Growing up in a Catholic upbringing she also raised her children with the same faith. In her last years she started communicating with her daughter in almost weekly passages and parables focusing on the Holy Spirit and the suffering of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her daughter Rachael took it upon herself before the turn of the year to compile all of these communications which may be published in the future.

Lynette Elaine Mitan is survived by both of her children, Richard and Rachael Kozak as well as her two grandsons Hunter and Evan. We thank you for your attention to her passing and hope you keep her in your prayers.
