Lynette Stanley-Wilson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shaw & Sons Funeral Home on Sep. 29, 2024.
Lynette Stanley-Wilson, age 66, of Selah, WA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in Yakima, Washington, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born May 9, 1958, in Toppenish, WA to Paul Y. Archer and Ruby Lee Archer (Duffield). She was a 1976 graduate of Toppenish High School.
Lynette, affectionately known as Netty, was a passionate and devoted Seahawks fan, cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm since 1976. Her love for food was evident in her favorites-ribs, potato salad, fried corn with okra, and her famous sweet potato pies that delighted family and friends alike. Music was a significant part of her life, with artists like Stevie Wonder, Boz Scaggs, Roberta Flack, and Clint Black. An adventurous spirit, Lynette often joked that if she were 20 years younger, she would join her husband on the reality show "Naked & Afraid."
One of her greatest joys was riding on the back Harley with her Husband, feeling the wind in her hair and the thrill of the open road. Yet, her favorite place in the world was always in her husband's arms, where she found love and comfort. Her proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, whom she adored deeply. Lynette will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and crazy sense of humor.
She was survived by her husband Ronal E. Wilson, sister Sandra Young, daughter Deanna Ferguson-Williams (Justin), of Puyallup. Granddaughters, Jasel Jackson, Imani McShepherd, Naomi Valencia; Grandson Cash Tobias, and great grandson Kenai Turner; several nephews, and a niece. She was preceded in death by daughter Tasha Stanley.
All are invited to Shaw & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N 2nd St, Yakima, WA Friday, October 4, 2024, 11AM to reminisce, grieve, support each other.

Lynette was my friend since Middle school, she always had my back. She was more than a friend, she was family. She attended family events and was full of enthusiasm and energy. She was right beside me, when my first child (Marlo) was born. Rest in peace my friend
