FORSTMANN, Lynn Edward, 71, of Glen Allen passed away peacefully Sunday, January 4, 2026. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonna Samuels Forstmann; his parents, Charles Leonard and Marjorie Forstmann. He is survived by his daughters, Courtney Forstmann (Paul), Carrie Francisco (Jon), and Charity Karwowski (Alex); grandchildren, Christian, Maria and Porter Francisco and Ian and Eva Karwowski; his sister, Shirley Thorpe (Scott), and numerous nieces and nephews. Lynn was a loving son, brother, husband, father and friend. He loved music, the beach, and was an avid Richmond Spiders and Washington Redskins fan. His remains rest at Bliley's Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, VA 23228, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026. Funeral services will be held at River Road United Methodist Church, 8800 River Road, Richmond, VA 23229 on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Commonwealth Senior Living - West End and The Haven at Studley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Henrico Police Foundation or Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #4.

I will always remember Lynn as a nice guy. I knew him from my law enforcement days and he was a great officer for Henrico PD. My condolences to the family.
