Lynn B. Freeman

Lynn B. Freeman, a 78-year-old Collinsville resident, passed away at his home on Saturday, May 3, 2025. He was born on November 24, 1946, in Vinita to Valgene and Clara Mae (Koscheski) Freeman. He was an Eagle Scout growing up. Lynn was a 1964 graduate of Vinita High School and went on to get his degree in engineering from the University of Arkansas. Lynn also served in the Army National Guard from 1969-1970. He owned and operated Freeman Construction Company from 1977 to 2016 and built many new homes in the Collinsville-Owasso area. He was also a real estate broker and a 32nd Degree Mason. Lynn loved to play golf, go fishing and hunting, and sailing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Valgene and Clara Mae Freeman, his brothers, Ricky Valgene Freeman and Stephen Brent Freeman.
The family includes his sons, Chad Freeman of Oologah, Josh Freeman of Collinsville, and Todd Freeman of North Carolina, grandchildren, Cora Freeman, Gage Freeman, Carter Freeman, Hunter and Andrew Freeman.
The celebration of life service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita, with Pastor Stephanie Crogan officiating.
