Mr. Lynn H. Glick

Lynn H. Glick, 96, a life well-lived and a legacy that will continue to flourish through his family, passed from this life surrounded by family at 12:51 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. He was the beloved husband of Donna L. Solomon, whom he married August 26, 1950. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his devoted daughters, Linda Forster of Hartsville, Mary (Jerry) Williams of Indianapolis, and Karen (Brian) Forster of Olathe, Kansas and daughter-in-law, Marybeth Glick of Columbus
He leaves behind a legacy in his loving ten grandchildren, and his sixteen great-grandchildren, whose lives are a testament to his enduring love and guidance. Lynn's presence will be greatly missed, but his impact on those he loved and served will continue to be a guiding light
Lynn's name became synonymous with agricultural excellence as an Outstanding Young Farmer, further inspiring young minds in Future Farmers of America. His commitment to community and fellowship was evident through his active involvement with the Masonic Lodge and Shriners Murat Temple.
Served on the REMC board for eleven years and the German Mutual Board for several years and active with the Farm Journal travel club.
As a proud Army National Guard veteran and a respected lifelong farmer and seed producer, Lynn's commitment to excellence was evident in all his endeavors. His unwavering faith was reflected in his active membership at Newburn United Methodist Church, MM Sunday school class, and his attendance at First Christian Church.
Lynn was welcomed into eternity by his late parents, his son Myron Glick, and his siblings Maurice, Marvin, and Frieda Glick.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Al White officiating.
Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m.to time of service.
Lynn will be laid to rest at the Hope Moravian Cemetery with military honors provided by the Army National Guard Ceremonial Unit and the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions may be made to the Myron Glick Memorial Scholarship Fund, Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or First Christian Church.
