Lynn Rieckmann Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 17, 2025.
Lynn Caryl Rieckmann, age 85, passed to heaven on Saturday, February 15, 2025, because of her faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ. Lynn was born on April 8, 1939 in Clintonville to the late Vernon and June (Queeman) Van Boxtel. She was married to Wayne L. Dobberstein from 1957 – 2004 and to Harold Rieckmann from 2005 – 2009. Lynn was a wild and free spirit! She enjoyed playing cards and cribbage. Over the years, Lynn belonged to several bowling and golf groups. She worked with the Radtke & Dobberstein auction team for many years. The absolute biggest thrill was the birth of her two great-granddaughters!
Lynn is survived by her daughters, Kim (Rick) Hutchison and Kay Millard; grandsons, Zachary (Holly) Hutchison and Aaron (Caitlyn) Millard; great-grandchildren, Ivory Millard, Emaline Hutchison and baby Millard; sisters, Leigh (Craig) Braatz, Christine Galyardt and Ardis (Curtis) Nelson and brothers, Roy (Janice) Zuege, John (Carol) Van Boxtel, Glen (Betty) Van Boxtel and Gary (Rita) Leroy. She is further survived by her close friends, Barb Radtke, Mary, Janet Prey and Ricky Heimbruch.
We have so much gratitude to her care team at Sun Valley Residential – Nikki, Kayla, Gianna, Yessica, Hunter, Jessica, Ginger, Monique and Jaime. Also to mom's care team at Compassus Hospice, especially DJ, Creation, Courtney, Tammy and Matt.
According to mom's wishes, there will be a private family gathering.
