Lynne Ellen Crouse passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025 following an extended illness. She was 64.
She was born on June 22, 1961 to the late Hugh W. Crouse II and Geraldine (Krauser) Crouse in Toledo,Ohio.
Lynne lived a rich and varied life. Over the years, she held many roles-including baker, artwork framer, cashier, and secretary-each reflecting her versatility and dedication. She made her home in several places throughout her life, including Mansfield and Maumee, Ohio, and later in Kennesaw and Dacula, Georgia, and lastly back to Mansfield, Ohio.
Lynne took great pride in her garden, her home and especially her kitchen, where she loved preparing delicious meals- firmly insisting no one help her in the kitchen. Her affection for animals was a constant throughout her life, and she cared deeply for every creature that crossed her path.
She is survived by her sisters Susan Robinson and Christy Crouse, niece Laura (Dusty) Beyatt, nephew Brian (Crystal) Robinson, great-nephews Jakob Beyatt, Tyler Beyatt, Blake Beyatt, Bear Robinson, Jett Robinson, and Cannon Robinson, uncle Chris (Jeanne) Krauser and their children Jennifer and Christopher Krauser, honorary family member Mike Sand, as well as many cousins.
In addition to her parents, Lynne is preceded in death by her brother Hugh W. Crouse III, grandparents Jack Crouse, Helen Crouse Andrews, Stan and Marge Krauser, aunt Marjorie Krauser, and uncles John Crouse and Steve Krauser.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio.
