Lynne A. Harris

Lynne Harris, 65, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Golden Hill Nursing & Rehab Center in Kingston, NY after battling a long illness. She was born on August 16, 1960 in Kingston, NY and was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Joan Harris.

Lynne graduated from Kingston High School and received her associates degree from Ulster Community College. She enjoyed all outside activities, especially hiking, prior to getting sick. She volunteered for a number of years at Ulster County SPCA walking dogs, as she absolutely loved animals.

Lynne worked in the past, as an activity aide, at Golden Hill Nursing Home & as an independent nursing aide.

She is survived by her sister Laurie Knapp and her husband Barry of Wimauma, Florida & Kingston, N.Y. and a few cousins.

In addition to her parents, Lynne is preceded in death by her finance Jack Croceto, her loving parents, and her brother Jim Harris.
