Lynne Kojtek Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beinhauer Family Funeral Homes - Dormont on Jan. 8, 2026.
Age 77, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen Morris. Lynne was raised in Hughestown, PA, where she developed the strong sense of community that stayed with her throughout her life. She was a devoted member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Hughestown, a congregation she remained faithful to for many years. Lynne later spent decades in Old Forge, PA, building a loving home and many cherished friendships. In her later years, she moved to Pittsburgh, PA, to be closer to her children and grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Kojtek, who passed on June 3, 2024, and by her sister, Carol Lively of Whately, MA.
Lynne is survived by her devoted children, Jason (Lynn) Kojtek and Jon (Telah) Kojtek; and her treasured grandchildren-Elliot, Lucy, Clayton, Blakely, and Reese-who brought her endless pride and happiness. She also leaves behind many dear friends who truly became a second family.
Lynne will be remembered for her gentle spirit, dry humor, generous heart, and the joy she found in the people she loved. Nothing meant more to her than time spent with her grandchildren, family, and the many friends who enriched her life.
Arrangements are entrusted to Beinhauer Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
