Lynnella Silvers McCurry, age 57, of Burnsville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 at Care Partners Solace Center. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of Peggy Sue Styles Silvers and the late Lloyd Silvers. She worked at the Yancey House for many years, she dearly loved the residents and they loved her. She was a very selfless, giving, loving and kind daughter, mother, sister, aunt, caregiver and friend. Lynnella will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memories in addition to her mother, are her daughter, Gracelynn Hope McCurry; brother, Lloyd Silvers, Jr. of Burnsville; sisters: Toyee Ayers and husband, Randy, of Green Mountain and Nannette Silvers of Burnsville; a very special niece, Faith Peterson and husband, Daniel, of Bakersville; great-nephews: Easton, Eli and Emerson; great-niece, Eliza and former husband, Kenneth McCurry of Spruce Pine.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 18th at Indian Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Charlie Foster will officiate.
