Lynnette Marie Alexander, 57, of South Bend passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday March 25, 2025, at her home.
Lynnette was born on June 15, 1967, in Mishawaka to Elizabeth and Larry Alexander. She spent her whole life in South Bend, graduating from Riley High School. She was employed by Star Darts until they closed their doors and then joined Barb Marroni at Marroni's before, they also closed. She went on to work for Diltz where she was currently employed. She also spent time as a bartender, working at the Cheveron and Z.B. Falcons #80, currently managing the Elks Club #235 where she was getting to know everyone.
Lynnette was a very loving soul. She was always around for anyone in need. She had a passion for playing darts and was a well-known shooter around Michiana and would travel to tournaments making new friends everywhere. She had an entire family of dart players! She enjoyed spending time outside and, in a pool, or hot tub. She loved Notre Dame and the Chicago Cubs. Above all Lynnette loved and cherished her grandchildren. She was the best Grammy anyone could ask for and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Rohde, mother; Elizabeth (Nemeth) Alexander, father; Larry (Barbara) Alexander, grandchildren; Jace, Joey, Riley, and Iyzen, and step siblings; Michelle (Shonda) Dewey, Kristi (Christopher) Swope, James (Jennifer) Bickel, and Robert Bickel. I'm deeply saddened to hear of Lynette's passing. My heart goes out to her children, and I wish them peace and strength during this difficult time. I have such fond memories of Lynette from the early '90s-I was lucky to know her, to hear her contagious laugh, and to experience the kindness she shared so effortlessly with everyone she met. She was truly a beautiful soul, and she will be deeply missed.
