Lyra Sky Robledo

Lyra Sky Robledo, age 6 weeks old, passed away in Knoxville, Tennessee on September 28, 2024. She passed peacefully in her Mommy's arms at the NICU of East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
Lyra was born on August 13, 2024, to proud parents, Shari Powers and Anthony Robledo in Knoxville, Tennessee, she was their 7th child. They recently relocated to Tennessee from their long-time hometown of Santa Maria, Ca. Lyra was born with a rare brain condition called alobar holoprosencephaly and continued to beat the odds while surviving birth and continuing her fight. She was the most loving, brave, stubborn, amazing baby girl. She liked things done "Lyra's way" as we would say. Her favorite place to be was in Mommy's arms to snuggle. We cherished every moment we were given with her, every day that Lyra so bravely fought to be here. Her time here may have been short, but she was flooded with love and touched the hearts of many. Lyra will be deeply missed and will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Lyra is survived by her Mommy and Daddy, Shari Powers and Anthony Robledo; her six siblings Tristin, Logan, Ethan, Makayla, Nova and Athena; several aunts, cousins, grandmothers, family, and friends.
A special thank you to the many nurses, doctors, specialists, and staff who cared for our baby girl at the Children's Hospital. So many there got to know Lyra and her story. Thank you to her NICU primary nurses Allison Hans and Chloe Cross who spent so much time caring so wonderfully for Lyra, and getting to know her, from the first moment she was in their care to the last.
We love you Lyra Sky.
