Mabel Florence Boutin

Mabel Florence (Cadrain) Boutin, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Sharon Health Center, Sharon CT on December 20, 2023. She was the loving wife of Joseph Boutin for 69 years, until his passing in 2018. Born on December 9, 1929 in Winsted, CT, she was the daughter of William & Gladys (Fox) Cadrain.
Prior to retirement, Mabel worked at Son-Chief Electric and Hitchcock Chair. Upon retirement, Mabel & Joe moved to Arizona, then to Virginia, Florida and finally back to Millerton NY. Mabel enjoyed doing crafts such as crocheting and quilting as well as traveling extensively with her husband throughout the US and Europe.
Mabel leaves behind her sons, Allan (Terri) Boutin of Indiana and Thomas (Arlene) Boutin, of Winsted CT. Grandchildren, Louis (Elke) Boutin and Adam (Allyson) Kiesler of IN, Michele (Ashley) Cousins of CT, Michael (Jodi) Waters of WA, and Seth (Samantha) Boutin and Steve (Victoria) Boutin of CT and 11 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. She also leaves behind a sister, Ruth Roden as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mabel was predeceased by her husband Joseph Boutin and Sons, David Boutin and Robin Boutin and Grandsons Matthew Kiesler and Jason Boutin and her sister June Senack and brother, William Cadrain.
