Mabel Fetch, age 65 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away July 20, 2025, at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born in Breckinridge County on September 18, 1959, daughter of the late Horace and Dorothy Sago Hatfield. Mabel was a member of Sample Global Methodist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed all things outdoors – fishing, hunting, boating and searching for arrowheads. She spent many hours taking Sugar Bear for walks.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Fetch and her sister Alice Gootee.
Mabel is survived by her son Timmy Hatfield of Sample, KY
9 brothers and sisters: John Hatfield (Billie Jean) of McQuady, KY; Harold Hatfield (Floeva), Rosie Horsley (Jimmy) and Virginia Cundiff of Hardinsburg, KY; Paul Hatfield of Kingswood, KY; Billy Hatfield (Susie) of Guston, KY; Charlie Hatfield and Dorothy Gootee of Irvington, KY and Abe Hatfield of Cloverport, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 11 AM with burial in the Sample Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 4-7 PM and after 8 AM on Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy are requested to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
