Mabel Halsey Griffin

So sorry to hear of Mabel's passing and so glad I was able to visit her in late October. I was visiting my sister in Baldwin and we both went to visit her. Knew Mabel, Bob and boys through Mt. Zion Church, Scouting and long time friends. Bob and Gary and all your family so sorry for your loss.

What a lovely lady. Have many memories of our families together at Mt Zion United Methodist Church and our friendships. To Bob and Gary, hold on to your memories. You might be interested to know that your dad's Model T was bought and restored by a good friend of mine and now resides on the eastern shore of Maryland . Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bob and Gary,Jeanne texted me about your mom passing. I have many great memories of your mom and dad. Aunt Mabel was such a kind and sweet woman and always treated us so good when we visited her. I know she's up in heaven with Uncle Bob watching over her family.God bless her! Jim and Marti Sheldon

Aunt Mabel, your kind heart always shined. Thanks for making me cookies when I was at Annapolis. I will always treasure my memories of you and Uncle Bobby particularly when you, and my Mon and Dad, had dinner with me aboard my ship the USS Sylvania (AFS-2) in Fort Lauderdale!

We always had a great time when we went to visit Aunt Mabel.
She was such a sweet lady and boy could she cook....
