Iron Ridge, WI - Mabel Leona Pieper, at the blessed age of 101, passed away peacefully at Clearview in Juneau.
A funeral service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lebanon, WI on Sunday November 9, 2025 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Repp officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church for visitation from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Hustisford City Cemetery immediately following the service. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lebanon, Clearview in Juneau, or a

Mabel was born on February 9, 1924 to Leonard and Edna (Kronitz) Christian in Lebanon. She was baptized on February 21, 1924. On August 18, 1946, She married her loving husband Wilbert Pieper at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Bill and Mabel owned a farm outside of Hustisford until their retirement in 1978. Mabel may not have had grandchildren of her own, but she filled the role to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and even the great greats and the great great greats. Mabel enjoyed making baked goods and sharing them with whomever stopped over. She will especially be remembered for her chocolate torte and stritzel.
Mabel is survived by her daughter, Pamela Pieper of Clearview in Juneau; sisters, Elaine Gamez of Pewaukee, Arlene Hagen of Iron Ridge, and Donna (Dave) Stangler of Watertown; sister-in-law, Rose Christian of Watertown; as well as many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other extended family, friends, and the wonderful neighbors of Maple Drive. A special thank you to the Brusveens for all the help given.
Mabel is preceded in death by her husband in 2018; her parents; her parents-in-law; brothers, Franklin (Anita) Christian, Oscar (Marion) Christian, Marvin Christian, and Carl Christian; sisters, LaVerna (Harvey) Frederich, Lillian (Wallace) Pieper, and Caroline (Lloyd) Lillge; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Verna (Roy) Lechner, Wilma (Dale) Otte, Herold (Marles) Pieper, Alex Gamez, and Eugene Hagen.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Clearview for their care and compassion. They would also like to thank Pastor Repp for all the visits and care with Aunt Mabel.
