Mabel Recchia Obituary
Mabel was born on April 14, 1929 in Liberty, New York, and moved to Bayonne, New Jersey at the age of 15. She has lived in the Oranges and settled in the Ledgewood section of Roxbury Township in 1995.
Mrs. Recchia managed her husband's Landscaping business for many years. She also worked at Prudential and ADP before retiring in 1994.
She was a parishioner and Eucharistic Minister of St. Therese's Church in Succasunna and was active in their Rosary Society. She was also active in the Roxbury Senior Center.
Predeceased by her husband, Domenick, in 2004 and her son, Phillip, in 1989.
Survived by her four children:
Nicholas and his wife, Lynn, of Randolph, New Jersey.
Donald and his wife, Paulette, of Georgia.
Donna Vice and her husband, Alan, of Tabernacle, New Jersey.
Ronald of Ledgewood, New Jersey.
She was blessed with Eight Grandchildren:
April MacNaughton, Tara Ford, Nicholas Recchia, Jr., Brandon Recchia, Erin Vice, Andrew Vice, Anthony Ciarla, and Patrick Recchia.
Mabel also had nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton, NJ 07885.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at St. Therese Parish, 151 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 07876.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
