Wendy Recchia Obituary
Born in Paterson, NJ, to Manuel and Wilma (née Levine) Shapiro, she resided in Clifton, Marlboro, Morganville, and Stafford Township before settling in Monroe Township, NJ, 4 years ago.
Prior to retiring in 2019, Wendy owned W.S. Distributors in Morganville, NJ, for over 20 years.
She was a member of ORT in Marlboro, Hadassah in Marlboro and Monroe Township, Get Pink'd Organization in NYC, and PTA in Marlboro.
She loved spending time with her family more than anything.
Wendy is predeceased by her parents, Manuel and Wilma Shapiro.
Surviving is her loving husband of 47 years, Mario B. Recchia of Monroe Township; her daughters, Staci Sansolo and her husband, Adam, of Manalapan; Samantha Recchia Halper and her husband, Alex Halper, of Manalapan; her sister, Elarie Stern and her husband, Ronald, of The Villages, Florida; her grandchildren, Montana Sansolo, Asher Halper, and Avery Halper of Manalapan, NJ; and nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 10:45 am at Mount Sinai Cemetery, 374 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ, under the direction of MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, East Brunswick, NJ. For directions, please view our "Events" listed below.
