Goldie Daniels

Old Bridge – Goldie Daniels passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at The Villas – Meridian Living in Manalapan, NJ. She was 87 years old.

Born in New York, NY, to Isidore and Molly (née Wisbraut) Guss, she lived on the Lower East Side for 22 years before moving to Brooklyn, NY, and later to East Brunswick and Lakewood, NJ.

Prior to retiring in 1994, Goldie worked as an administrative assistant at the New York Stock Exchange for 20 years.

In her spare time, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, volunteering for hospice, taking trips to Atlantic City playing the penny and nickel slots. She will be remembered for her love of family, her warm heart, and the joy she found in being surrounded by those she loved.

Goldie was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Herbert Daniels, who passed away in 2006; her first husband, Louis Lichter, who passed away in 1996; her parents, Izzy and Molly Guss; and her sisters, Elaine Udolf and Marilyn Altman.

She is survived by her daughter, Mindy Lichter and her husband, Sal, of Old Bridge, NJ; her sons, Clifford Lichter and his wife, Gina, of Allentown, NJ, and Todd Lichter and his wife, Tara, of East Brunswick, NJ; and her grandchildren, Dylan Colon, Luke Lichter (and his wife, Lindsey), Jared Lichter, Liana Lichter, Brett Lichter, and Louis Lichter and an extended family who loved her dearly.

A chapel service will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 10:45 a.m. at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ. Interment will follow at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, NY. For directions, please view the "Events" listed below.
