Mark Barry Hecht

MONROE TOWNSHIP – MARK BARRY HECHT passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. He was 76 years old.

Born in Bronx, NY, to Hanchel and Yetta (née Rudman) Hecht, he resided there for 16 years, before moving to New Brunswick, NJ, and living in the Clearbrook community of Monroe Township, NJ for 21 years.

Prior to retiring in 2002, Mark worked as a data processing manager for Bristol Myers Squib in New Brunswick, NJ for 33 years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling and cruising around the world. He especially loved spending time with his family and his grandkids.

Mark is predeceased by his parents, Hancel and Yetta Hecht.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Frances (née Molloy) Hecht of Monroe Township; his sons, Aaron Hecht and his wife, Crystal, of Monmouth Junction, and Howard Hecht of Monmouth Junction; his sister, Patricia Schulma of FL; his grandchildren, Robert, Dominic and Scarlett; and his great-grandchildren, Levi, Joseph, and a great-granddaughter on the way.

A chapel service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 9:00 am, at MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ, followed by entombment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. For directions, please view our "Events" listed below.
