Stephen Entin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels on Feb. 25, 2026.
MONROE TOWNSHIP – STEVE ENTIN, 78, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, in Boca Raton, FL.

Steve was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 20, 1947, to Morris and Leah (née Lass) Entin. He is an alumnus of Thomas Jefferson High School in East New York and of Baruch College in Manhattan. Steve was a member of Baruch's inaugural class of 1969 and affectionately referred to the school as UCLA: the University at the Corner of Lexington Avenue.

After graduating, Steve served in the United States Army Reserve and began a career in executive recruiting. He eventually became a principal of EXXELL Associates, running the firm for 30 years before retiring in 2013.

Steve was an active congregant of East Brunswick Jewish Center, serving as Men's Club president and taking on a number of other roles. More recently, he served on the board of Perrineville Jewish Center.

A lifelong Yankee fan, Steve enjoyed quoting the witticisms of Yogi Berra, his favorite player. He also loved musical theater, a passion he shared with his entire family. With his wife, Doris, Steve traveled the world, stepping foot on six continents.

Steve is predeceased by his parents, Morris and Leah Entin.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Doris (née Goldstein) Entin of Monroe Township; his daughters, Jenn White and her husband, Scott, of Westfield, Carli Entin of Jersey City; his brother, Joel Entin and his wife, Eileen; and his grandchildren, Amanda White and Jess White.

A chapel service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 9:45 am, at MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ. Interment will follow at Beth Abraham Cemetery, East Brunswick, NJ. For directions, please view our "Events" listed below.
