Walter C. Preller, of Kendall Park, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026 at home. He was 73 years old. Born in New Brunswick, he lived in East Brunswick and Colorado before moving to Kendall Park in 1980.
He was an engineer for BOC (now Linde) before retiring. Walter was a member of the Friends of South Brunswick. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. He also loved being a ham radio operator.
He is predeceased by his father Walter P. Preller, and his brother Robert Preller (d. 2012).
Surviving is her beloved wife of 47 years, Geraldine (Quinn) Preller; his daughter Laura Preller (Peter Cirasoli), of Atlantic Highlands; his son Michael Preller of Dunellen; his grandson Clyde; his mother Bertha (Petri) Preller of East Brunswick; his brother Tom Preller of East Brunswick and his sister Linda Buturla (Richard) of North Brunswick.
