Mabel Turner Obituary
She was born in Athol, Kentucky to the late Kelly Noble Sr. and Ruth Jett Noble. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Graydon Noble, Harlan Noble, Eddie Noble, Dexter Noble and her sister, Wilma Jean Campbell.
Mabel dedicated her career to education, retiring as a beloved fourth grade teacher. Beyond her profession, she had many passions, including gardening, hiking, photography, and gourmet cooking.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Maurice Turner; her brother, Kelly Noble Jr.; and her sisters, Martha Noble, Letha (Darrell) Hogan and Irene Noble.
"In accordance with Mabel's wishes, a private graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 12:00PM at the Noble Cemetery in Athol with Ricky Isaacs officiating.
