Funeral services for Mac “Bingo” Wheet are Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Huntingdon, TN.
Mr. Wheet, 79 years old, died Monday, March 18, 2024, at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. He was born in Only, TN on February 11, 1945, to Lee and Effie Howell Wheet. He was in the US Army and a factory supervisor for River Oaks Furniture.
He survived by his children Melinda (Gary) Wallace and Angie (Ron) Fuzzell all of McKenzie, two stepdaughters Pamela Castleman and Misty Azbill, two sisters Louise Crider and Lois (Joe) Hampton all of Huntingdon, four grandchildren Shane (Anna) Wheet, Leslie Wheet (Shannon Hardwick), Bailee Christman and Morgan Christman, and step-grandchildren Haley Hall, Dustin Bell, Ashley Parsons and Allie Adams and 4 step-great grandchildren Blakely Hall, Carson Bell, Landon and Lainey Parsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharon Wheet, his son Greg Wheet, sisters Jessie Cude and Lucille Blaylock and brothers James, Wheet, Wayne Wheet, Buddy Wheet and Joe Wheet.
