Macie Anne Hill, 8 years old, returned to Heaven on July 4, 2022.
Macie was born September 23, 2013, in Columbus, Ohio, to Mark and Melanie (Bundy) Hill. Macie joined brothers Ethan, Liam, and Seth to complete the Hill family. She brought so much JOY to her three older brothers and parents.
She adored her two English Bulldogs, Biggie and Smalls and her pet axolotl, Sprinkles! Macie was very talented. Even at a young age she loved to cheer and tumble. She loved her team and her coaches. Macie was a flyer with her cheer team, a position at which she excelled.
Macie had such a unique and exuberant personality. She was full of sass but also incredibly tender-hearted. Everyone wanted to be around her to soak up the love and acceptance she emanated.
Macie attended Sam Morgan Elementary School where she was a friend to everyone. She excelled in French, reading, math, and particularly art.
She is survived by her parents and brothers as well as her grandparents, Larry and Sharon Hill and Douglas Bundy, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom loved and adored her. She is preceded in death by her grandma, Barbara Bundy.
We want to thank the communities near and far for the overwhelming show of support and love we have received. Your prayers have been felt. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the first responders and bystanders who jumped in to help our sweet girl at the scene and the incredible medical team in the Layton IHC emergency department for their efforts and kindness during our most difficult time. And, finally, a special thanks to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for their service and unwavering support.
Our little Macie "Maeberry" will be missed every single day and we take comfort in knowing she is now in the loving arms of her "Gammy" Barbara.
Mark and Melanie are requesting that anyone who has a photo of Macie, either alone or with friends, bring a framed copy of it for a memory table in her honor.

I am so thankful I got to know and love Macie teaching her English half of the day when she was in first grade. She truly was so kind and sweet to all she came in contact with, along with extremely bright, and an amazing student. She was about as close to angelic as it gets. I will always remember her with great fondness.
I pray you will receive comfort and clear recollection of the wonderful memories of her from up above as you try to manage life without her.
