Mack A. Sanders, Jr.

Mack A. Sanders, Jr., beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend passed away on April 9, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on May 7, 1965, in Rome, GA. Mack had a fulfilling career working in the shipping and receiving department at Brierly Lombard Co., where he dedicated himself to his work with diligence and pride.

Mack will always be remembered for his passion for life. An avid Oakland Raiders fan, he found joy in cheering for his team. His adventurous spirit led him to enjoy camping, deep-sea fishing, motorcycling, cars, hunting, playing softball and baseball. A true handyman at heart and the "grill master" of the family, Mack's culinary skills were unparalleled - especially when it came to grilling.

He touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity. Mack is survived by his loving wife Brenda L. (Troy) Sanders and her children Stephanie, Rose & Emily Cotto. He is also survived by his father Mack A. Sanders, Sr., mother Lottie Watters, sons Quentin, Eric, Bryous, Tre & Kobe, brothers Bobby Sanders and Kenneth Watters, sisters Erica Sanders and Andrea Wheeler. Mack leaves behind many grandchildren including Brayden, Madysen, Talia, Erielle, Ez'mun & Keziah who brought immense joy into his life.

In addition to his immediate family, Mack is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Services to celebrate Mack's life will be held on Monday, April 22nd with visitation from 9:00-11:00 AM followed by a service at 11:00 AM  in  Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home Home, 61 Myrtle St ,Worcester.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. 

Mack A. Sanders Jr.'s memory will live on through all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing he was cherished by many and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
