Macon Bradford Jr., 59, of Hastings, NE died Friday, February 21st, 2025, at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings Nebraska, surrounded by family. A celebration of life will be held from 2pm-4pm on April 19th, 2025, at Miscues Sports Bar & Grill in Hastings, NE.
He was born on April 21st, 1965, in Savannah Georgia to Macon and Martha Bradford. He grew up in Victorville, California and graduated from Víctor Valley High School in 1983 before moving to Hastings Nebraska in 1990.
Since his youth, Macon enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), where he was able to make lifelong connections with others who shared his passion for the game. He also loved Bruce Lee movies, collecting comic books and was a long–time loyal fan of the Miami Dolphins (even through the rough times).
He is described by many as being a strong, kind, protective, and a “tell it like it is” friend.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents; Macon and Priscilla Bradford (Victorville, Ca.); Sisters, Karen Jackson (James Jackson Sr.) (Adelanto, Ca.) Sheila Johnson (Tim Johnson) (Victorville, Ca.) Angela Pearson (Adelanto, Ca.) Brother, Melvin Sims (Anaheim Ca.) (Margaret Sims) (Anaheim, Ca,) Nieces; Janel, Ashley, Janae, Grace, Aliyah. Nephews; Sanjay, James Jr. Great Nieces; Heavyn, Faith. Great Nephews; Jayden, Shia. Grandchildren; Christopher, Jacob, Alex, Bradlee.
Macon is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Bradford.
