Madalynn "Lynn / Fergie" Ferguson, born on February 6, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio, has left us on October 10, 2024, at the age of 75. Her life was characterized by a deep commitment to family, community, and her passions, making a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege to know her.
Lynn dedicated 30 years of her life as a school bus driver for Hilliard City Schools, where she not only ensured the safety of countless children but also fostered relationships built on trust and care. In addition to her role as a driver, she worked part-time at Iacono's Pizza in Hilliard, Ohio, showcasing her vibrant spirit and willingness to engage with her community. However, her true love lay in working with horses; she spent many cherished hours grooming and training them for Beulah Park in Grove City, Ohio. This connection to animals reflected her deep compassion and dedication to nurturing life in all its forms.
A proud graduate of West High School, Lynn’s infectious spirit extended beyond her work; she was an avid volunteer, devoting her time to several causes, including the Faith Mission Homeless shelter, where her kindness and support touched many lives. An animal lover at heart, Lynn embraced opportunities to spend her time at the horse farm and enjoyed the company of her beloved dogs.
Lynn nurtured treasured memories with her grandchildren, particularly during Christmas, filled with baking cookies and enjoying festive music. Her legacy of love, patience, and support will forever resonate through the lives of her surviving family members, which include her son, David (Lisa) Ferguson; daughter, Amy (Bryan) Conley; and her cherished grandchildren: Jordan (Vicki) Ferguson, Nate White, Lilli Ferguson, Ally Blankenship, Alli Ferguson, William Conley, and Riley Conley. She was also a beloved great-grandmother to Connor Ferguson and Caleb Ferguson. Lynn is survived by her brothers, Robert E (Lynda) Morgan, Jr., Bruce Morgan, and Timothy Morgan.
Lynn is preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Morgan, Sr., and mother, Ruth C.(Frebis) Morgan, who provided the foundation for her caring nature and strong values.
