Obituary published on Legacy.com by Whitley Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. - Kalamazoo on Dec. 11, 2025.
Maddox Elijah Swearengin
• Was born and passed away on 12/04/2025. He spent the 20 minutes of his time in this world resting in his mommy's arms, feeling nothing but love. He came unexpectedly at only 18 weeks, and though his time was short, his impact was immeasurable.
• He is deeply loved and will forever be missed by his mommy Savannah Ashley Swearengin, his big sister Noa Audrey Love, and his two big brothers Jaxxon Joel, and Nixon James. He is cherished by his cousins Maren Gretchen, Beau Patrick, Peanut, and Limo. His "favoritest" (Aunt Yiya) Sierra Ann Swearengin and his (Uncle Bae) Blair McMeeken. He is also held in love by his Aunt Ashlynn & Uncle Ashjen Swearengin, Aunt Brooklyn, Uncle Marty Aunt Katie, and Uncle Ray. His grandparents who loved him dearly, Grandma Stephanie Ann Blanchard And Papa Ashley Swearengin. And his Great Grandma Shirley and Papa Wojo.
• Maddox Elijah is now forever home in Heaven with Jesus, keeping his (Gigi & Poppy) Deborah and Chad Bedwell on their toes as they all wait to welcome the rest of the family into the fun and laughter one day.
"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you."- Jeremiah 1:5
Maddox Elijah, a name carved in light. My blessed warrior born into the night. Maddox, the fortunate, gentle yet strong; a protector in spirit who wasn't here long. Elijah, the prophet whose name means "my God." My child made of truth in a world that feels odd. A name that once summoned fire from the sky, a name my God carried upward instead of letting die. His breath was brief, but his mark remains forever, etched into my being like ink in my veins. He lived in the doorway where two worlds meet and left tiny footprints, too small, too sweet. •All my love. •Mommy
