Madeline Coffey Obituary
MADELINE ELAINE "MADDY" COFFEY, 79, of Ashford, passed away January 20, 2026.
She preceded in death by her father, Walter Mitchell; mother, Velva Mitchell, brother, Gary Mitchell and grandson, Brett Ordaz.
She retired after 38 years of service with the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier.
She is survived by her son; Nicholas Steele (Diane) of Inverness, FL; daughter, Rhonda Dowdy (Genaro) of Chicago, Illinois; six grandchildren; 10 great - grandchildren and two great - great - grandchildren; sisters, Joan Dean of Canton, Ohio, Gail Anderson (James) of Ashford, WV, Patricia Culp (William) of St. Petersburg, FL and aunt, Sylvia Williams of Bossier City, Louisiana, many nieces, nephews and other family.
