Madeline A. Lentz

Madeline A. Lentz, 84, of Allentown, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 in St. Luke's Hospital – Allentown Campus. She was the wife of the late Gary B. Lentz who died in 2011 and a companion of the late Donald Rupert who died in 2024.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Frank A. and Mamie V. (Zentner) Deysher. Madeline was a 1958 graduate of Allen High School. She was self-employed with a private housecleaning business for many years. Madeline was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, where she enjoyed attending many church outings through the years. She loved Country music, but Madeline's greatest joy was her family. She was always active in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors: Daughter, Sallyann A. Schran and her husband Mark of Mertztown; sons, Scott E. Lentz and his wife Janice Benner of Allen Township, Troy G. Lentz and his wife Lori of Allentown; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Madeline was also preceded in death by a grandson Lee M. Schran, a great-granddaughter Evelyn M. Arndt and brothers Charles O. Wetzel and Willard E. Deysher.
Services: A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 23, 2025 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown. A viewing for relatives and friends will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at the Jerusalem Western Salisbury Cemetery.
