Madeline Ann Pruitt-Nye has peacefully passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 76.
Madeline was born on August 13, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Gladys and Fred Pruitt, Sr., and graduated from Dunbar High School. Madeline married Thomas Roy Nye in Big Bear, California, on October 5, 1991. She worked as a security specialist, and she loved interior decorating and cooking.
Madeline is preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Lampkin, and her brother, Charles Ray Pruitt.
Those left to cherish Madeline's memory are her husband of over 35 years, Thomas Nye; her sister, Patricia A. Pruitt; her nieces, Kathy Ogletree and Donna Woods; her special friend, Melissa Chamberlin, along with many other loving family members and friends.
