Madeline J. Saddler

Mrs. Madeline J. Saddler, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 13, 2025 at University Hospital's Community Campus. She was born June 3, 1940 in Woodbine, New Jersey to the late Malcom Turner Sr. and Lillie Mae Turner.
On October 30, 1965 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Charles R Saddler. She was a member of the former New Covenant Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher's Board and the Choir.
She was formerly employed at University Hospital for more than thirty years until she retired. Afterwards she loved to spend time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed movie nights with the family and going out to dinner with her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her Senior Companion of more than eight years Ms. Clereatha Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; as well as six brothers, Benjamin, Roosevelt and Elmer Hankerson as well as Donald, David and Ronald Turner.
Mrs. Madeline Saddler leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory, one brother, Malcom Turner Jr. (Heidi); daughters, Selena Culley (Kenneth), Michelle Denham (Timothy Sr) and a bonus daughter, Sonya Monroe; God Daughter, Sharon Rice (Derrick); grandsons, Marquan Saddler Sr (Jelia), Kenneth Culley Jr. (Tyah), Timothy Denham Jr. Jayden Denham; great-grandsons, Marquan Saddler Jr. and Kairo Culley; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 21st, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bellegrove Missionary Baptist Church, 219 Doctor M.L.K. W, Syracuse, NY 13205. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Madeline will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery.
