ROCHESTER - Madelyn Eitas passed away unexpectedly on February 19th while vacationing with her family. She was born on May 11, 2014, at Tobey Hospital.

Madelyn was the love of our lives. She was caring, beautiful, silly, sassy, athletic and loving - and without question, the best cuddler of all time. From the day she was born "Sissy", looked up to her big brother, Cam. She was her Mama's mini me and bestie, her Daddy's little girl who she confided in solving her challenges and she loved her dog, Skarla. Words cannot fully express how deeply she will be missed by her family and friends.

Maddie had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome. Whether at soccer games, baseball games, school, or social events, she brought people together. She truly was the best "Momma Bear" - a natural leader, great teammate, and loving friend.

In her spare time, Maddie loved dancing, singing, spending time with friends, playing soccer, and swimming. She enjoyed four-wheeler rides in the woods with Daddy, skiing, shopping trips with Mom, jet ski rides, boat rides at the lake house and on the ocean, baking, and making snow angels in the winter. She lived life with energy, joy, and adventure.

She had a first-class palate and enjoyed sushi, lobster, steak, venison, cheeseburgers, candy, and ice cream - a girl who appreciated both the finest meals and the sweetest treats.

Madelyn is survived by her father, Gregory Eitas; her mother, Rebecca Eitas; her brother, Cameron Eitas; Memam, Roxanne Eilers; Grampy, Ken Eilers; Grandpa, Vyto Eitas; Grandma, Judi Eitas; Uncle Tim Eitas; Auntie Carly Eitas; Auntie Lisa Eilers and her fiancé, Phil; Uncle Aaron Eilers and Auntie Kristin Cannon; and her four cousins Willie, Sam, Susie, Jack with whom she loved making memories and movies with, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Madelyn's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2025 at Saint Patrick Church, 94 High Street, Wareham at 10 AM. Please go directly to church. Interment will be in Rochester Center Cemetery, Dexter Lane, Rochester. A Celebration of Madelyn's Life will follow on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Century House, 107 S. Main Street in Acushnet at 1 PM. All that knew Madelyn are welcome to attend and honor Madelyn's beautiful life.
