Madison "Maddy" Todd

Madison "Maddy" Loretta Todd, 25, of Toccoa, GA, received her wings and transitioned into eternal life on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Maddy was born in Demorest, GA, on August 20, 2000, daughter of Charles Elton Todd and Shannon Suzanne Burke Todd of Toccoa, GA. She was a retail worker having worked at Pilot and attended Pennington Chapel Church. Maddy loved the outdoors, but her favorite place to be was the beach. She will always have the sand between her toes and the cool ocean breeze on her beautiful face.
Her smile lit up every room, she was fun-loving, and had a heart of gold. Maddy loved Vince's kids, Waylon and Bella, as her own. She will be forever missed by her family, friends, and all who had the chance to experience her presence. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Charles Preston Todd (Ella Marie) of Fort Mill, SC; nephew, Charles Grayson Todd; boyfriend, Vincent Keith Groce; stepchildren, Waylon Groce and Isbella Valerie Baulchum; maternal grandmother, Kathleen Fabrikant; aunts, Erin Mendez and Erika Gushulak (Dave); uncle, William Burke; cousins, Mary, Grace, Will, Griffin, Owen, Claire, Katie, and Brooke; and great-aunt, Bea Williams.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Patrick Burke; and paternal grandparents, Charlie Todd and Marie Bailey.
A memorial service for Maddy will be held in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. until memorial hour on Saturday morning.
Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
