Mae Kirkpatrick, age 90, of Amity, died Friday, March 17, 2006.

She was born on December 2, 1915 at Amity, the daughter of George Washington Doster and Lillie Pearl Orrick Doster. On April 16, 1932, she was married to Willie “Bill” Kirkpatrick who preceded her on July 18, 1995. She was also preceded in death by three grandchildren, Steven Kirkpatrick, Angie Kirkpatrick and Kathy Kirkpatrick Boyd; two brothers; and three sisters.

She was a member of the Amity First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Mable Kirkpatrick of Stephens and Dwight and Karen Kirkpatrick of Arkadelphia; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Winston Doster of Glenwood; three sisters, Tuleda Hancock of Amity, Pauline Woodson of Amity and Bessie Cookman of Anderson, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 22, 2006 in the Amity First Baptist Church with the Revs. John McAnally and John Clift officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Interment will be in the Jones Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Curt Bean, Thomas Boyd, Milton Hancock, Ray Barber, Jimmy Doster, Neal Kirkpatrick, Ronnie Kirkpatrick and Earl Kirkpatrick.
