Mr. Roger Boyd

Mr. Nathaniel Roger Boyd, affectionately called Roger by family and friends age 84, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas, passed from this life on Friday, January 9, 2026, at The Blossoms Nursing and Rehab in Dierks.

He was born to Willian Nathan and Bitha Alice Buck Boyd in Amity, Arkansas, on October 5, 1941. He married the love of his life, Mary Lou Corder on June 9, 1962 in Hot Springs County, Arkansas. To this marriage two daughters and a son were born. Roger was a farmer by trade and was a member of the Cross Point Cowboy Church in Nashville, Arkansas. He enjoyed watching cattle, fishing, hunting, and horses. He made sure everyone in the family had a horse of their own. Roger was devoted to his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, William Richard Boyd, Flora Lee Howell, Inez Graham, June Bellot, and Sue Simmons.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 63 years, Mary of the home, one son and daughter-in-law, Hayes and Twyla Boyd of Dierks; two daughters, Rhonda Hall of Amity, Arkansas and Tina Jones of Garvin, Oklahoma; his grandson, Billy Jones and his wife, Whitney; three great-grandchildren, Collin and Parker Axton, and Tracer Jones, all of Eagletown, Oklahoma; one sister, Mattie King of Arizona, nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Roger Boyd will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 12, 2026, in the Cross Point Cowboy Church in Nashville, Arkansas, with Bro. Don Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Dierks, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., at the Cross Point Cowboy Church.
