WEBSTER/SPENCER: Mae E. (Roberts) Lavallee,94, of Christopher Heights, formerly of Spencer, died suddenly, Thursday, Oct. 2, in Harrington Hospital, Webster. She was the wife of Roland S. "Pete" Lavallee of 75 years who died in 2019.
She leaves her son; Richard Lavallee and his wife Debbie of Lakeland, FL., her daughters; Judy A. Lavallee and her longtime partner, Kathy Diggins of Hull, Gail L. Hasting and her husband David of Spencer, Brenda M. Constantineau of Brookfield, and Bonnie M. Stohlberg and her husband John of Thompson, CT., her sisters; Joan Krans of Winooski, VT., Beverly Zavisky of Essex Junction, VT. and Shirley Russell of NC., 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sons, Peter and Steven Lavallee, two brothers, James and Richard Roberts and a son-in-law Roland Constantineau, Jr. She was born in Burlington, VT., the daughter of Orphier and Rose (Godbout) Roberts.
Mae spent much of her life caring for her special needs son, Peter, who she loved and enjoyed spending time with for 20 years. She also loved caring for and spending time with family and hosting holidays. Aside from spending time with her family, her favorite hobbies and pastimes were shopping, cooking, casino visits and trips to bakeries just to name a few. Her favorite music was country and favorite shows were on the Lifetime channel. Her most favorite place to visit was Vermont and there were many trips there to visit family.
Mae's funeral will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7th at 11 a.m. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. A calling period will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to
