Mae Frances (Fran) McDaniel went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 14th, 2024. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Lone Star Cowboy Church in Nevada with Rev. Jeff Parson and Dr. Keven Wentworth officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Fran was born on May 15th, 1930, in Atlanta, Georgia to M.B. Smith and Lucy Mae Smith. Fran attended O'Keefe High School and after a whirlwind romance, Fran married Marvin McDaniel, a US soldier in Dallas, Georgia on May 7, 1948. Marvin was transferred to White Sands Proving Ground in Las Cruses, New Mexico and Fran followed him shortly after, they were married where they lived off the army base. Carol Yvonne McDaniel was born to them on July 11th, 1949, in (Army) William Beaumont General Hospital in El Paso, Texas. Seven years later, Stephen Randell McDaniel was born in 1956 in Houston, Texas. Fran was a devoted and compassionate pastor's wife for 33 years and made countless friends and acquaintances wherever she went, right up until her passing blessing all whom she came into contact with.
Fran is survived by her husband Marvin McDaniel of 76.5 years, daughter Carol Bishop of Rowlett, son Stephen McDaniel of Rowlett, grandchildren Kristin Wilson and husband Spence of Bartlesville, OK., Chad McDaniel and wife Stephanie of Fate, TX., great-grandchildren Luke, Abbie-Claire, Annaliese, Jude, and Lucy.
Fran is preceded in death by her parents, Mal Berry and LucyMae Smith, two brothers Herman and Eugine Smith and one sister Hazel Smith.
Pallbearers will be Jim Ridgway, Buddy Rush, Dale Seawright, Chad McDaniel, Rocky McHenry, Robert Clark and Luke Wilson.

Rest in Peace Cousin. We never met but I knew of you through mom who is in heaven already. I am the daughter of your fathers sister Agnes's daughter Marcel. so we are second cousins. I know you are with GOD and that is a beautiful thing.
