Mae Richardson Obituary Mae Richardson, age 100 of Salem, Indiana passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 6:55 am, in Hoosier Christian Village Brownstown, Indiana.
Born March 11, 1924 in Oneida, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Howard Brown and Loada (Robinson) Brown.
She had been a resident of Washington County since 1936, formerly of Oneida and was an employee of the old B.F. Goodrich, retiring in 1982 after 25 years.
She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church and a member of the Salem Senior Citizens Center.
In 1946 she married Dewey E. Richardson, who passed away June 28, 1981.
She is survived by:
2 Sons: Rick (Jo Ann) Richardson of Salem and Mark (Whitney) Richardson of Brownsburg; Daughter: Sherrell (Fred) Perry of Brownstown; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild
She was preceded in death by: 1 daughter: Karen Richardson and 1 son Jimmy Richardson; 5 sisters: Rilla Burns, Ora Bowling, Margaret Bowling, Bernice Roberts, Hazel Morris and 1 brother: Melvin Brown
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Monday and 9:30 to 11 am Tuesday.
