Maedell Moore

Maedell Moore 88, of Blountsville passed away Thursday October 30, 2025, at her son's home in Blountsville. Mrs. Moore was born on February 10, 1937, in Blount County, AL the daughter of Odis Beavers and Ruby Fowler Beavers. She was a graduate of J.B. Pennington High School and worked for many years at several sewing plants in the area doing seamstress work. She was married to James "Jimmy" Moore who passed away on Oct. 28, 2008. Mrs. Moore was a long-time member of Fowler Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law: Kenny and Tammy Moore; chosen daughter: Tonya Matthews; granddaughter: Jennifer and husband, Jimmy Valentine; great grandchildren: Kendra, Trey, Brody, Chase and Remi and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Odis and Ruby Beavers; son: Carey Moore and sister: Fay Nell Byrum.
Graveside Service was held on Sunday November 2, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Fowler Springs Cemetery with Bro. Michael Murphree officiating. Blountsville Funeral Home directing.
