Mary Sue Hamm

Mary Sue Hamm, 92, of Blountsville passed away Monday February 23, 2026, at her residence. She was born on July 12, 1933, in Blount County, AL the daughter of Alexander Bullard and Cynthia Pearl Robertson Bullard. She was married to Ezra Hamm who passed away on January 29, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents: Alexander and Cynthia Pearl Bullard; son: Milo Hamm; brothers: Stanley Bullard, Aub Bullard, Idus Bullard and Billy Bullard; sister: Mavis Timmerman and son in law: Eddie Lee Forster.

Mrs. Hamm was a long-time member of Mtn. Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include son: Eddie Michael (Glenda) Forster; daughters: Vickie Forster, Marlene (Boyce) Foust, Barbara (Billy) McDaniel and Rebecca (Garry) Kanaday; daughter in law: Blanch "Boots" Hamm; host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be Friday February 27, 2026, at 11 AM at Mtn. Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Dustin Smith and Bro. Jerry Hackney officiating. Burial will be in South Cemetery with Blountsville Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at Blountsville Funeral Home. She will lie in state at the Church on Friday from 10-11 AM.
