A graveside service for Marion Joan (Moffitt) Hamm, 88, of Godley, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 27, 2026, in the Godley Cemetery, located at 9641 County Rd 1229, Godley, TX 76044 with Reverend Ken Coleman officiating. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM prior to service at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home located at 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, Texas 76033.
Joan Hamm, of Keene, Texas, passed away on February 23, 2026. Born on July 12, 1937, in Clarksville, Texas, Joan lived a life characterized by her vibrant spirit and unwavering love for her family and friends.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Joan was known for living her life unapologetically. Her feisty nature was infectious, and she brought joy to those around her. She loved camping and took great pleasure in visiting family in Oklahoma, and her enthusiasm for playing dominos was unmatched. Joan was cherished by her extensive K-Mart family, where she forged many important connections.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Hamm; her son, Raymond Hamm; her daughter, Brenda Cline; her parents, Grady Woodrow Moffitt and Mary Tinsley Shackelford; and her 1 sister, 11 brothers and 9 sisters-in-law.
She is survived by her children, Robby Hamm and his wife Cindy, David Hamm and his wife Toni, Stephanie Hodges and her husband Rusty, and Brad Hamm and his wife Kellie; her son-in-law, James Cline; her grandchildren, April Sawyer and her husband Nick, Courtney Chambers and her husband Brandan, Ashleigh Hamm, Brittni Hodges, Tensley Hodges, Trevor Hodges and his wife Lacey, Adam Mann and his wife Hollie, Erin Johnson and her husband Eric, Chris Herrmann and his wife Emily, Nick Herrmann and his wife Angela; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Ralph Ann Moffitt.
Joan's indomitable spirit and capacity for love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
