Magdalene "Madge" Bacos, nee Manos, age 99, fell asleep in the Lord April 24, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Peter C. Bacos for 63 years. Daughter of the late Peter J. and Eugenia Manos. Loving mother of Ellen (Scott) Andeen, Chris (Sue) Bacos and Dr. Peter (Dr. Beth Nelson) Bacos. Proud grandmother of Beth (Joseph) Chojnacki, Michael Bacos, Stacey (Dane) Harris, Adrienne (Brian Durbin) Andeen, Dr. Nicholas (Christmas) Bacos, Daniel (Megan) Bacos, Stephanie (fiancé Joel Klopstein) Bacos and Dr. Jonathon Bacos. Great grandmother of Jack and Lauren Chojnacki, Dane Harris IV and Cameron Bacos. Dear sister of Stella (Thomas) Kapsalis, Georgia (the late Richard) Vratanina, George (Vicki) Manos and the late John (Joan) Manos and Athena (Harry) Lemperis. Sister-in-law of Mary (the late Peter) Poulos and the late George (Frieda) Bacos. Fond aunt and kind friend of many. Madge was a giver. She constantly helped, supported and loved others. She offered positive words and laughter. Madge was always our shining star. Very special thanks to the staff of Friendship Village of Schaumburg and Amita Hospice for their loving and constant care of Madge. Visitation Tuesday May 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00 AM at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 West Winona Street, Chicago, IL 60625.
