Maggie Burns passed away on October 7th, after a long and difficult battle with addiction. She was 35 years old.

If you knew Maggie, you knew her dimples showed up before she even said a word. She was silly in the best way - she had her own way of being funny, and it wasn't loud, it was just her.

She loved music, especially the kind you could dance to. She was a proud cheerleader during her childhood and into high school years and had a great core group of friends. She loved to vacation with her family and cousins. She had a huge sweet tooth - and she wasn't subtle about it. If there were desserts in the room, she had already found them.

She is survived by her sister Amy and brother-in-law Matt; her three nephews Brooksy, Bruin, and Bowey; her brother Jackson and sister-in-law Kalyn; and her grandparents Cookie and Bucky. She also leaves behind a big, loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mom, Cherylyn, and her dad, Haggar - and we're positive they were both waiting for her in Heaven with open arms.

We'll miss her forever - her silliness, her sweet tooth, those giant dimples, and all the little things that made her, her. If you'd like to honor her memory, consider a donation to a recovery center, or just eat something chocolatey and think of her.
