Mahaska Cooper Obituary
Mahaska was a homemaker and a member of Rosebower Baptist Church of Paducah.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Allcock (Ricky) and Pam Russell (Bud); one stepdaughter, Beverly Evans (Paul); two sons, Rick Hughes and Bobby Hughes (Tina); one stepson, Jerry Cooper (Betty); one brother, Robert Estle Ivy, Jr.; son-in-law, Darrell Reed; two daughters-in-law, Debbie Hughes and Crysta Hughes; twenty-five grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Estle Ivy, Sr. and Pearl Orea (Reid) Ivy; her first husband, JR "Jack" Hughes; second husband, Charles "Buddy" Cooper; two daughters, Nancy Sledd Gross and Marilyn Reed; two sons, Jack "Randy" Hughes and Larry Hughes, Sr.; and one grandson, Timothy Hughes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Bud Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to service time Monday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations made to Rosebower Baptist Church, 1120 Tyree Rd, Paducah, KY 42003.
